Azimuth is working with the architect of the ZED open source
community/content management portal. Together we can manage, install and train staff to use this software.
The significant aspects of the zed system are:
- Extensive Content Management and Community Portal Services.
- Highly configurable and extensible and thus a good base to develop a large variety of applications.
- Supports rapid development of 'dynamic interfaces' with customized look/functionality for different user groups or "application skins".
- Designed to be scalable and provide excellent response time for large numbers of simultaneous users.
- Code base is well tested and has run in production environment for years and has performed well while serving thousands of simultaneous users.

The challenge here was to provide as much content and product information as possible in as small a space as possible. We met this request by creating 1 STEP work flow to take their EXCEL CATALOGUE to XML DATABASE then served in a delicious FLASH INTERFACE.
