One of my first contracts, fresh out of university, involved improving a local manufacturer's yields and improve on it's stability for a longer commercial lifespan. My experience in the Pulp & Paper industry led me to explore cellulose products as a neutral jelling agent, which was successful in meeting the SOW for the client.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Formulated a new non-toxic, stable, base cream for a proprietary industrial solvent.
- Successfully developed the product at 1/3 the budget projection.
- Optimized the efficiency and yield of the chemical reactions on site, through implementing inexpensive techniques and equipment modifications that almost doubled profit margins.
